Johnson controlled the Turks offense in helping claim a Class 1A sectional title. The 5-foot-9 senior setter handed out 20 assists in a straight-set victory over Orion, 25-16, 25-18 in the Abingdon-Avon Sectional championship on Thursday. She also added two aces as Nora Parsons (nine kills) and Aubrey Hurckes (nine kills) benefited from Johnson's passing. Tremont made the Elite Eight for the first time in program history.
