National FFA Week always encompasses Feb. 22nd, President George Washington's birthday. The National FFA Board of Directors designated the weeklong tradition, which began in 1948, in recognition of Washington's legacy as an agriculturist and farmer.

Tremont's FFA Chapter members will kick-off our celebration by serving our community. With no school on Monday, it provides members an opportunity to assist at The Share Closet, Tremont Food Pantry and Senior Meals at the Community Center.

Activities during the school week are as follows:

Dress Up Days - We encourage and hope everyone takes part by joining the Dress Up Days!

  • Tuesday: Dress in FFA Colors - Wear Blue & Gold
  • Wednesday: Wear camouflage (FFA members will be treated to donuts in the Ag Classroom beginning at 7:15am)
  • Thursday: Dress Country or dress for The Country Club with EVERYONE's favorite Hay Bale Toss during lunch (we've heard a rumor that Mr. Frank has challenged Mr. Finney)
  • Friday: Wear 'Merica and Drive A Tractor to School Day

Anyone who participates will be given a ticket and entered in a drawing for a $25 Casey's Gift Card. FFA members will be giving out tickets during study halls. Attached you will find fliers about the dress up days and drawing.

All week we will be collecting non-perishable foods for the Tremont Food Pantry. The drop-off box will be located outside the Ag Classroom.

We appreciate your help participating as it helps communicate that Tremont FFA is rooted, grounded and thriving.
